2025:
Sat Sept 13th: Host – Girish Jeram
Outing: London Wetlands Centre. Queen Elizabeth Walk, London SW13 9WT,
An urban oasis just minutes from central London. Meander through lush landscapes, tranquil lakes, and reed-fringed paths, ideal for capturing stunning shots of wildlife in their natural habitat. The centre has accessible paths and wheelchair for use.
Meeting – at 10:00 AM at the entrance.

Sat Oct 11th: Host – Mike Hillyard
Convention highlights: A selection of the best shows from the 2025 Convention in Southend-on-Sea. A chance to enjoy some of the finest 3D AV shows from worldwide stereographers.
Sat Nov 8th: Host – Mike Hillyard
First half – Selection of AV-5 competition.
Second half – CODE shows (Club Online Digital Exchange) compiled by Stephen O’Neil for the ISU, based on contributions from ISU member clubs around the world.
Sat Dec 13th: Host – Colin Metherell
A fun competition of members’ submitted images, where the meeting’s attendees will decide by picking their top image. This will be followed by our end-of-year Social & Festive Food.
The competition is open to all members of the Society even if they are not attending on the day. Please send up to 3 digital images in advance to londonprojectionist@stereoscopicsociety.org.uk. Image title should be in the format Name_ImageTitle_1, Name_ImageTitle_2, Name_imageTitle_3. Preferred format for the images is: SbS JPEG, (Side by Side – left image on left) with no black borders. These images must reach Mike before the end of Monday 1st December.
This is also an opportunity to bring along and show your interesting, quirky or rare stereo items.
2026:
Sat Jan 10th: Host – Mike Hillyard
Themed Meeting. Mike will project a set of AV shows prepared by Society members on the theme ‘Summer’. Your chance to show your AV show making skills – if you have or will have a show to offer, please contact Mike ASAP by email at londonprojectionist@stereoscopicsociety.org.uk
We hope to present a promotional clip for the 2026 Stereoscopic Society Convention.
Sat Feb 14th: Host – Bob Aldridge
Show & Tell. Members share their inventions, equipment, ideas and absolutely anything that might be of use or interest to stereographers. Bob Aldridge will again be running this session and will generally allocate a 10-minute slot to each participant.
Sat Mar 14th: Host – Helen Bovill
First half – “Members Favourite Images”. An opportunity for members to present their favourite 3D image, together with a paragraph explaining why it appeals to them.
Second half – Shows from the archives by some of our great stereographers.
Sat Apr 11th: Host – Girish Jeram
First half – An opportunity to see the Society’s Annual Exhibition show, comprising images entered for the annual Competition.
Second half – Image critique. An opportunity for members to have their images discussed and analysed in a friendly non-competitive manor by their peers. Images for this will need to be: SbS JPEG, (Side by Side – left image on left) with no black borders. These images must reach Mike by 1st March 2026 via email londonprojectionist@stereoscopicsociety.org.uk.
We will also continue to meet Virtually – Online on a weekly basis as we began doing through out the Pandemic, presenting 3D images and 3D Videos and discussing anything 3D related.
Some stereo supplies are usually available.
Location of meetings:
On street parking in central London is currently free on a Saturday outside the meeting hall and in surrounding streets, but spaces are extremely scarce. We strongly advise the use of public transport, Euston Station is immediately over the main road.
