Doors open 2pm, meetings start at 2:30pm. End time 5pm

2nd October 2010 Coventry

Chairman Brian Padgett
A.Workshops: Lance Potter will talk about his collection of cameras, a repeat performance for those who missed his December 2009 presentation.
Barry Aldous will reveal the secrets of ProShow Producer, the software that allows you to compile stereo image sequences of professional quality.
Phil Jennens will demonstrate his Pulfrich adaptor.

6th November 2010 Coventry Chairman Alan Cooper
A. STEREO – THE WAY AHEAD. A talk and discussion on the future of stereoscopy; developments that will influence the way our Society will function.
B. Members to bring up to TEN images each (slides or digital) to illustrate a theme of their choice and to have them projected in a mini competition with a small prize for the winner.
20th November 2010 London Going Digital
Members are invited to show results from their digital stereo cameras. Please bring a selection of images as Left-Right pairs at 1024 x 768 or 1400 x 1050 pixels pers side.
Digital Cameras
In the main a discussion of the features and failings of StereoData Maker rigs and the Fujifilm W1 but users of other systems wre welcome to contribute.
4th December 2010 Coventry Chairman Bob Pryce
A. Bring and Buy Sale. The traditional opening to our December meeting giving all present the chance to buy, sell, barter or give away (!) those items of stereo (or mono) equipment that you either no longer need or desperately want.
B. Projection of images by Bob Pryce with the general title Macro and Micro – living and dead!
18th December 2010 London The Christmas Meeting.
As usual, members are invited to bring suitable festive food and drink items to supplement to usual refreshments.
Entertainment will be provided by Gert-Jan Wolkers, President of the Dutch stereo club as well as the ISU. In addition to his own sequences there will be a showing of the invitation to the ISU Congress which will be held in 2011 in the Netherlands.
8th January 2011 Coventry Chairman Geoff Ogram
A. PRINTS A discussion on the production and presentation of stereo print pairs in
various formats will be held; amongst others, contributions will be made by Alan Cooper and
Geoff Ogram.
B. Projection of sequences produced by John Ralph and David Robinson.
15th January 2011 London Show and Tell
With David Burder in the chair as usual, members are invited to talk about and demonstrate anything related to stereoscopy. Priority will be given t items of popular interest.

5th February 2011 Coventry Chairman Barry Aldous
A. A talk and discussion on stereo video equipment, techniques and methodology
B. Projection of stereo video sequences.
19th February 2011 London Society Archives. Mike Hillyard will present a new selection of items from the Archives.
Workshops on digital processing methods. Including one-on-one tuorials with StereoPhoto Maker and other programmes. Please contact the Organisers if you would like to seeparticular subjects covered.
5th March 2011 Coventry Chairman Roy Smyth
A. Professional 3D: We plan to invite an outside speaker to discuss the involvement of industry and the media in promoting 3D – films, TV, stereo equipment and the like.
B. Projection of stereo images of a local activity group or groups especially taken by some of our own members. We intend to invite members of the local groups to attend our meeting. In addition, we hope to show the ISU programme of entries from various countries in digital form and some digital sequences compiled by Roy Smyth.
19th March 2011 London The Annual Auction
Please bring items for sale from 1pm. Viewing starts at 2pm and the auction will get under way at 2:30pm.
There will also be facilities for fixed price sales. All sales subject to 10% commission towards the running costs of the meetings.
Subject to the quantity of material for auction there will probably be a discussion to allow members to put forward ideas for subjects that they would like to see covered in the meetings.
2nd April 2011 Coventry Chairman Andrew Hurst
A. Andrew will give us an update on the Society’s 3D archives. What should be retained and in what form it should be stored are two questions that need to be addressed.
B. Projection of the Society’s Annual Exhibition slide and digital entries and display of prints.
16th April 2011 London Annual Exhibition. Projection of accepted entries in the 2011 Annual Exhibition. Entry forms will be issued to all members in Autumn 2010. Three Categories: Film slides, Digital images, Prints. Each entrant may submit four images in each category.
